Vostro V3560 with dual graphics (Intel HD4000 & AMD Radeon HD 7600M Series)
Switchable graphics work perfectly on Win 7 x64 - Version 8.933.3.4000 - http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?cc=us&lc=en&softwareitem=ob-106619-1
(one can select what application runs on what GPU)
But after 8 -> 8.1 upgrade & AMD drivers update to amd_catalyst_13.11_mobility_betav9.5.exe all multimedia apps are locked to Power Saving (read Intel HD4000) GPU ONLY.
Same as mentioned here or here
Switchable Graphics on Notebooks Configured with Intel and ATI GPUs
But I do not care about any of this nonsense. I paid for extra GPU & I want to be able to use it the way I need. Not what some idiot somewhere decided for me!
Obviously the only way is to hack it, anybody has any idea how?
