A840 upgrade from XP to win 8

Hi 

I want to upgarde my old dell  vostro A840 from XP  to win 8 64 bit

will it work?

 will the hardware support it  ( core due T5470 2M cash

.I did not find any support in Dell site  for drivers and Bios
