Dell laptop Inspiron 15 - 3542
I purchased the laptop last July. It has windows 8.1 pre-installed. My understanding is that this is OEM. There were no media supplied with the laptop. I have read part of some of the guides at This site
I want to run DBAN to securely wipe the HDD, then install a FULL Windows 8.1
Have ordered the media for this , it is part number 634-10276 - "KIT - Deployment Solution Media Kit - OM Kit". I don't know what the 'OM' stands for.
Is the Windows 8.1 software on this media a FULL version/release ? I don't want OEM anymore , as I need to reinstall a fresh Win 8.1
