I have an Inspiron 15 7537 with Windows 8.1 purchased in March 2014.
Last week, after running the PC Checkup app that came installed on my machine, I received error message Failed (Error code: WHD20-U9M) during the Targeted Read Test. I was then sent a new hard drive by Dell.
I purchased Dell Backup & Recovery Premium (DBAR) v 1.7.5.63 and created my bootable backup and system backup files on an external USB drive. I replaced the old hard drive with the new one and attempted to restore my files using this video, found on this support page. However, the screen shown in the video at 0:29 is not the same screen as shown on my laptop when pressing F12. My laptop shows UEFI boot, with no option to select an external USB drive.
My questions:
1) The aforementioned video is for DBAR v 1.5. Are there different instructions for DBAR v 1.7?
2) Is there a way to restore my system to the new hard drive via the UEFI boot screen?
