To correct a problem with some authoring software, I followed the providers instructions that led to the un-installation of the Flash program that is integrated with Windows 8/Internet Explorer. I find I can not down load a new copy of Flash that will integrate with IE10, and cant find how to download a new IE10. The program that started my woes (Articulate Storyline) now won't start unless I have Flash 10 (or higher) in IE10. Articulate is looking into this.
My question is, will a system restore put the Flash/ IE10 program back? When I start the restore process, and scan for affected files, Flash does not show as one that will be replaced (I used the Adobe process for uninstalling).
If I re-install Windows will that do it? It is a new computer so I wont lose much. Or is there an easy way to get a new copy of IE10 with Flash? Assistance would be appreciated,
