I have a Dell XPS 12
I had issues and I lost all my partitions.
So I had the Dell with a empty SSD drive.
Its the weekend and Dell support is closed.
Lucky I have another Dell XPS 12 which is the same model.
I made a Factory Image Recovery Disk from my second XPS 12 and Restored my first XPS (using the second XPS Factory Image)
However it transferred over the licence key from the second XPS to the first XPS.
It will not active on-line because it says it is already in use on my second XPS.
How can i get my key from the first XPS?
I checked the box of the PC and there is nothing in there with a licence key.
Looking on-line it says Dell embed the key in the motherboard? Does this mean i lost my licence? or is there a way of getting it back?
