Okay, when i first got my dell inspiron 15 3521, the speakers worked when i turned it on, but for some reason when i close the lid or put it to sleep, the speakers stop working when i wake it up, and the only fix is to turn it off and wait an hour at least. Now, i am no idiot, it is not on mute, the volume is fine there are no other problems except for this. i know it cannot be a hardware problem because speakers just dont stop working because it goes to sleep. and there are no settings for the speakers to shut off during sleep or closed lid. i have looked for answers for a week because i just got this laptop last week. if i dont find an answer soon im going to use my warranty and send it back. if that doesnt work im going to try to get a refund, or a brand new one. please help is this a winows 8 problem? or a realtek speakers problem?
