Webcam issue Dell Inspiron 15 XPS l502X

Hi,

I recently format my entire notebook and install Windows 7 64 bit,  but I am having problems with the Webcam integrated with the notebook, I have done these steps:

1. Downloaded the drivers from dell.com for Windows 7 64 bit for the Dell Inspiron 15 XPS l502X. I just downloaded the recommended not the optional.
2. I have read some of the suppport forums, but they say that the problem is the last Skype update or you need to download the bios and chipset drivers. The bios and chipset I have already downloaded and installed. I have also install AverMedia.
3. The device Manager shows no conflicts and says that the webcam driver is OK. But the version date I find it quite old Jun 2006.

Please any advice on this issue it will be magnificent since I am spending a lot of my vacation time on this issue.
