Dell Inspiron One 2330 - new on 26-Oct-2012 and started up on 27th.
Since start up.... has been the same issue. Periodic lock up with the failure. All but once, restarted on its own.
So, at the moment, unless I find another means to get the unit running properly will wait till Monday. Monday start the torment of Dell for some resolution. Doubt it is a "one machine only issue" if it started from inception. Years back, had trouble with a Dell Dimension P90 moving forward from Win NT 3.51 to Win 4.0. Got the blue screen of death. Worked ok if the unit wasn't migrated, just 4.0 on a clean load. Wonder what the odds are, a Win 7 driver was migrated forward inadvertently?
Thoughts from Win 8 users? Ways to make it more stable so it is functional enough, long enough to finish loading / installing Office and other basics?
