1. How does Dell Backup and Recovery with Windows 8.1 manage disk space? I need something that is set and forget. The standard Windows 8.x backup deletes the oldest backups so the backups don't take more than 30% of the disk space.
2. I'm having a tough time understanding the reasons for going with Dell Backup and Recovery. I read http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/software-os/f/4677/t/19471699.aspx but the information table on the end is either false, or I don't understand it. Perhaps Windows 8 cannot use the Recovery Partition?

1) Huh? A system restore is a system restore.
3) Restore point? You mean destination? OK, so Windows backups up to local drives only.
4-7) If you do a restore, how does any of this matter?.
