After installing Windows 8.1 update 1 the Windows 8 feature that allows you to snap App to the left side or right side of the screen no longer works. Once you drag the App to the left or right side of the screen and you get the dividing window and let go it just goes full-screen again. It worked prior to the update on my Dell Inspiron 15r 5537. And the screen resolution is 1366x768 which is needed for the snap feature to work. I uninstalled and reinstalled the updated drivers and it still does not work.
Waiting to see if anybody else has this problem.
