I'm trying to re-install Windows 8 on my Dell 7520 after a hard drive failure. Immediately after starting setup, I get error :
"The product key entered does not match any of the windows images available for installation. Enter a different product key."
I have not manually entered a key, so this must be referring to the the internal key in the motherboard.
-The computer shipped new from Dell with Win 8 (not Win 8.1) installed.
-I am using a Win 8 DVD obtained from Dell "Windows 8 Single Language (EM) (OEM Activation 3.0 Required) 64-bit. P/N H4N5D Rev.A00
-Have changed SATA mode to AHCI.
-Have tried installing on the new HDD blank out of the box, as well as after changing it to GTP using Gparted. The drive has no partitions.
-I am booting in UEFI mode from DVD when attempting to install
-This computer also has an mSATA SSD. I have tried to install to it with same result.
What am I missing?
I have seen others in this forum with the same problem, but have yet to see a posted solution.
