How do I correctly partition the drive without invalidating the warranty?

How do I correctly partition the drive without  invalidating the warranty?   I may  get windows 8.1 full install disk.   I may wait tell after the warranty expires to install 8.1

My current disk layout

OEM Partition             (Primary)
Recovery Partition       (Primary)
OS partition                   (Primary)

If possible,   I would like to change that set up.

Here is what I would like

One Primary Partition

One Extend Partition with 4 or 5 logical partitions.

I would like that very last logical partition be the OEM partition.

I still think it is strange that an OEM has Bios Diagnosis tools on the  hard drive.   Same goes for a recovery partition.

I can use Diskpart to do that.

Thank You for your help in advance.

P.S.   I also read that you can delete the metro partition of windows 8.1,  and still use the desktop.    I can't seem to find that article now.   You just loose your apps, windows store access & boot directly to the desktop but can seem to find that article now.
