I just bought a Dell Refurbished Inspiron 3520. My intent was to use Windows Media Center. I currently use a Macbook Pro with Mavericks which cost nothing to upgrade. I am astonished that I must purchase Windows 8.1 Pro for $99.00, then an additional $9.99 for Windows Media Center! That's too close to a New Macbook Pro for me. Sorry Dell, i'm sending your Windows 8 Inspiron back. No wonder Bill Gates is the richest man in the world. Snake oil with 'Windows 8'.
