Windows 8 partitions
I've noticed on my fairly new Inspiron 660 there are 7 partitions.
1 NTFS primary
2 OEM primary
3 4 Recovery ...
2x 350 MB
2GB
13.5GB
4 EFI system 500MB
No. 1 partition I assume is the main system, 2 is Dell's partition which will give you the factory settings etc. and I think 4 is something to do with boot loading programs?
It's the 4 recovery partitions that I'd like explaining please. Surely there isn't a new partition for every time you do a backup?
If that's the case can redundant ones (one's that have been superceded) be deleted, if so is there any way of identifying the contents of each partition's contents.
