Im beginning to feel left out :(
I got my Dell PC on 8.1, about a week before the W10 roll out, but its always come up with the same error Code 80240020 and the last auto update by MS was attempted on 7/9.
I know this error is common and Ive tried a few different solutions, but they have never worked.
When I right click on the "Get Windows 10" and check my upgrade status it still comes up "We're validating Windows 10 for your PC"
I have opened the top left options and confirmed Im "good to go".
Yet it still hasnt happened :(
Im really just curious how many others are in this situation and if the above messages mean that Windows/Dell are working on a solution to get the automatic installation working, or am I waiting on nothing and should try tinkering with things again myself?
Its not a complaint, its more Im not sure whats going on, or what to do.
I know theres an option to download the software on to a USB and install from there, Im not too tech savvy and Im thinking if theres a problem with the auto update, maybe I will just end up with a problem with the USB method too.
I just dont know if I should sit and wait, or go for the USB method and cross my fingers?
