Hi,
I have windows 8 preinstalled on my Dell inspiron 5420. Due to some problem my OS got corrupted and system was not able to boot startup and I was getting blue screen. Since I did not have recovery drive of my OS. So i have created recovery drive from different machine and tried to fix the error.
But unfortunately, none of trouble shoot option worked for me. I called the Dell support and they have suggested me to either go to local vendor or get the the recovery image from similar dell system and reinstall the OS.
So, I have created a factory setting image from a Dell Vastro system and installed it on my PC. Everything went well and OS is working properly.
Now my problem is that my windows activation is getting failed. I am getting below error
Error code: 0xC004C003
Error Description: The activation server determined the specified product key has been blocked.
please help me how to solved this problem. Because online call support is not helping me at all as my warranty has been expired.
