Interesting article. And, another good reason for performance enthusiasts to not "upgrade" to Windows 8 (or run dual-boot with Windows 7 as an alternative). Also a good reason for Windows 7 to be the default OS configuration for Alienware machines. I wonder if Futuremark will follow suit by invalidating results with Windows 8.
