I had a Dell support engineer come out to fix a faulty screen on my Dell XPS 15 system which went very well, next day engineer great service.
Unfortunately the operating system is now asking for activation, presumably because there has been a hardware change? I have tried to activate the OS but I am continually getting the Error code: 0x8007232B DNS name does not exist. I called up Microsoft to try and activate by phone. After speaking to seven different people they told me to come back to you and ask for the OEM product key instead of the volume licence key as they cant activate it without your volume licence key server.
I raised a support email with Dell but have had no response, just tried to call your support number which is not easily found and its office hours only! Really in 2015 office hours? Microsoft said to insist on getting an OEM key as it will stop the same issue occurring in the future if I swap out any hardware.
Please tell me this can be fixed very soon it is taking up time I don't have.
