I have Dell 15R. I tried to update to Windows 8.1 but I get this error.
"You need to use an account with Administrator privileges to install Windows 8.1, try logging in with the user account of an administrator of this PC and trying the update again."
Though I just have one account on the laptop and its administrative account.
I searched alot on it online , checked different forums but nothing worked. Even tried unistalling KB2871389 but it wouldn't uninstall giving this message.
" An error has occurred. Not all of the updates were successfully uninstalled."
I dont know what to do, just fedup .
