When Dell replaced my HD, they sent a DVD "Windows 8.1 Recovery Media" and one with drivers. SupportAssist keeps reminding me to create "a backup of the Dell factory software that is installed on this computer". And Win 8 itself wants me to create recovery media.
1) Can someone tell me what the differences are among these?
2) I have a 3-DVD set labeled "Dell factory backup" that I made before the HD died. After I install the new HD, are these disks of any value, or do I need a new set?
