Doing an HDD swap for a customer, her HDD died in a Inspiron 2330 All in One. No recovery CD on hand, and no OEM product key anywhere on or inside this device. The old drive had a mechanical failure, and I cannot retrieve the key from here.
Can I get this from Dell support?
There was a valid copy of Win 8.1 sold with this machine, the OEM product key should be available, and isn't anywhere to be found on any documentation. My client, the original owner registered this product, and as such should have access to her own software licenses.
EDIT:
I know Dell activates these before shipping. I need an alternative.....
