I have uninstalled and reinstalled three times. I also ran sfc and confirmed that the filesystem is not corrupted.
Just to be sure, I tried two different USB 3 ports and the USB 2.0 port as well. I'm using a 2TB WD My Passport Ultra USB 3.0 external drive. (I also tried a 256GB Lexar stick on one of the attempts). DBAR creates a 164GB "System Recovery" folder (containing 262 files and 5 additional folders) on the external drive before failing. I have paid for the upgrade to the premium version, but I can't even get it to install properly. At this point Dell Backup and Recovery is an absolute waste of money.
