Hello,
I have upgraded to dell backup and recovery premium and all were ok. My laptop had a USB port failure so Dell support has replaced the mainboard. My XPS (ST: 4BXLXW1) since then is ok, but the backup and recovery software has been downgraded to basic. By entering the activation code i get failure.
Most likely the machine identifier has changed due to mainboard change.
But the fact is that I have paid for this, and i need to use the software that was purchased for the specific laptop. So pls help me out.
